Meet Our Staff

Mark Zeigler, PT, MS - Received his Bachelors Degree from California State University Sacramento with emphasis in physical therapy and athletic training.  Mark received his Masters Degree in Physical Therapy at University of the Pacific in Stockton, CA.  Since then he has been very involved in sports medicine working with numerous professional, college, and high school sports teams to rehabilitate their athletes.  Mark currently oversees the athletic trainer for the Pagosa High Pirates.  He specializes in orthopedic and sports injuries, manual therapy, and spinal rehabilitation.  Mark has called Pagosa Springs home since 2003.  Mark enjoys hunting, fishing, hiking, and barbecuing, when he is not dedicating his time to his patients and family.

Jan Lewis MSPT - received her Bachelor's Degree from Missouri Western State University in Biology with a minor in Chemistry.  Then pursued her masters degree in Physical Therapy at the University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City, KS.  During her 20 year career Jan has worked primarily in outpatient orthopedics as well as long term care and currently provides physical therapy for hospitalized and swing bed patients at the Pagosa Springs Medical Center.  Outside of the work place Jan can be found enjoying her three sons and their activities as well as camping, hiking, and fishing.

Jennifer Smith MS, PT received her Bachelor’s Degree with emphasis in Physical Education, Health and Recreation and focus in Sports Medicine from Aquinas College. She received her Masters Degree in Physical Therapy from Grand Valley State University in Grand Rapids, Michigan.  She complemented her degrees with further education in Manual Therapy and sports performance programs.  Jennifer is an outdoor enthusiast who enjoys biking, running, skate skiing, and snowboarding. 

Dr. Bryce Heckman, DC - Bryce graduated from Parker College of Chiropractic in 2008 with a B.S. in Anatomy and Physiology and a B.S. in Health and Wellness.  After graduation, Bryce practiced in McKinney, TX where he specialized in soft tissue work, mobility, and injury rehabilitation until recently relocating to Pagosa Springs with his wife Jenny, their son Hudson and daughter Henley.

Jeff Westmoreland, PTA - Jeff is originally from Farmington, NM and graduated with honors from San Juan College in 2006.  Jeff practiced in Austin, TX until 2013 at which time he and his girlfriend Debbie took some time off to travel the U.S. to see family and visit 14 National Parks.  They are now very excited to call Pagosa Springs home.

Jame Venturini – Jame was raised on the central coast of California.  He moved to the Dallas area in the early 1990’s and worked for FOX Sports for 9 years.  While living in the Dallas area he vacationed in Pagosa Springs yearly.  Jame moved to Pagosa in 2000 and has been working for Rocky Mountain Physical Therapy since 2006.  When not at work you can usually find Jame doing something outdoors; fly-fishing, hunting, camping, or riding his horses.

Ryan Jensen, ATC – Received his Bachelor’s in Athletic Training from the University of Utah in 2014. After graduation he worked with youth athletics programs until moving to Colorado in 2015 to work as the ATC for Pagosa Springs High School. Ryan places strong emphasis on functional, sport specific rehabilitation methods, and injury prevention programs. After hours Ryan tries to get outside as much a possible; hiking, photography, and outdoor sports are his favorite interests.

Amy Torrez (Rivera) – Amy’s family has been in the Pagosa area for many generations.  After graduating from Pagosa Springs High School Amy left the area for 10 years, she has returned to raise her family here in Pagosa.  Amy has been working at Rocky Mountain Physical Therapy since August of 2012.  Like the rest of our employees Amy enjoys an active outdoor lifestyle when time permits.

Bobbi Walden
- Bobbi, the newest member of our team, was born and raised in Pueblo, CO.  She recently moved to Pagosa with her husband Dustin.  Bobbi is a mother of two which explains her caring nature.  Like most of us here in Pagosa she enjoys the outdoors: hiking, fishing, mud bogging and especially likes going on new adventures.
